Meet Michael Beattie

director of client services

With many years of experience in the employee benefits and HR industry, Michael has an outstanding command of benefits administration, account management and client service. He brings broad knowledge of health care benefits and products, including compliance issues associated with the Affordable Care Act. Proficient at managing, maintaining and growing account relationships, he is adept at answering questions more quickly than an 800-number and resolving insurance and claim issues for employees and employers.

For the past ten years, Michael has worked on both sides of the insurance equation. Early in his career, he developed considerable expertise in Workers Compensation. Later, he leveraged this experience to an account coordinator position with several of Rochester’s leading employee benefits firms. In short, with the founding of Lavoro Group, Michael was the first person hired because of his knowledge, expertise and reputation as the “go-to person.”

On a day-to-day basis, Michael is the employer and employee contact on benefits and enrollment questions. Michael is a graduate of SUNY Brockport and has held licensure in NYS Life, Accident & Health, and NYS Property & Casualty.
